How the comparison works
We compute each creator's engagement rate and compare audience sizes side by side. A smaller creator with a much higher engagement rate often converts better; the bigger audience wins on awareness. Signed in? The real-data compare pulls two real profiles from their handles.
How to read the verdict
Rough cross-industry bands: above 6% is excellent, 3–6% good, 1–3% average, below 1% suggests weak audience fit — the same bands our engagement calculator uses.
FAQ
- How many recent posts should I average?
- Five to ten recent posts is the sweet spot — enough to smooth one-off viral spikes without dragging in stale numbers.
- Can I compare creators across platforms?
- Engagement norms differ per platform, so cross-platform ER comparison is apples to oranges — this tool is fairest within the same platform.
- Where does the data come from?
- Public platform data and third-party public profile databases. We don't scrape behind logins or buy private lists.
- Is this an audit?
- No. It's a heuristic estimate from public metrics to help you decide whether to reach out — not a verdict on a creator.
- Does it cost anything?
- Some tools work without signing up. Data lookups use a small number of credits per successful query; failures are refunded automatically.
- Can I export the results?
- Yes. Unlocked results export to CSV, and in the workspace you can process them in batches.
- How are the two creators aligned?
- Both use public data with identical metric definitions, but different sampling times can shift numbers — treat the result as a reference.
- How many can I compare?
- Two at a time. Run it again for more — each run uses a small number of credits.
